Rotary Club Warszawa-Belweder

Service above self — since 2001

We bring together people of different professions and nationalities who want to use their knowledge, contacts and skills for the good of society.

We help people at risk of social exclusion: children and young people, people with disabilities, refugees and migrants, and people affected by the consequences of the war in Ukraine.

Opportunities

What does Rotary offer?

Rotary is not only community service. It is also personal growth, international contacts, an exchange of experience, access to programmes that connect people in different countries, and grant opportunities that help turn good ideas into concrete local and global action.

An international network of contacts

Rotary has more than 1.2 million members in over 200 countries and geographical regions. That makes it possible to meet people of different professions and nationalities, build relationships and develop cooperation with clubs all over the world.

Growth and leadership

Rotary offers members access to training and courses in the Learning Center, to seminars organised by the District and to programmes such as RYLA. You can develop leadership skills and knowledge of membership, public image, The Rotary Foundation and grants, and prepare to take on club and district roles.

Projects, grants and real action

Club members can create local and international projects together and draw on grants from The Rotary Foundation. District grants support smaller activities, while global grants support larger international projects with a lasting and measurable impact. Good ideas can therefore receive the real financial and partner support they need to be carried out.

Scholarships and Rotary Peace Centers

Rotary Peace Centers offer scholarships for professionals who want to develop their skills in peacebuilding, conflict prevention and international cooperation. The programmes cover master’s degrees and certificate programmes run by partner universities around the world.

Opportunities for young people

Rotary gives young people the chance to grow, gain independence, see the world and build international relationships. Programmes such as Interact, Rotaract, youth exchange and RYLA develop leadership, cooperation, responsibility and community involvement.

  • Interact — for young people aged 12–18; their own community projects, teamwork and a first experience of organising.
  • Rotaract — for people aged 18 and over; their own initiatives, professional development, leadership and community involvement.
  • Youth Exchange — short- or long-term trips abroad, study in another country, stays with host families and discovering other cultures.
  • RYLA — seminars and workshops that build self-confidence, leadership skills and the ability to work with others.

Communities and expert groups

Rotary makes it possible to connect with people all over the world not only through clubs, but also through shared interests, professions and fields of action. Rotary Fellowships bring together people with similar passions and professions, while Rotary Action Groups connect experts who support clubs in carrying out community projects.

Membership in Rotary therefore opens access to a global network of people with whom you can share passions and knowledge and develop concrete initiatives together.

Friendship Exchange

Rotary Friendship Exchange makes it possible to discover other cultures, build international relationships and visit Rotarians and their clubs in other countries. Such meetings often lead not only to new friendships, but also to joint initiatives and partnerships between clubs.

Settling into a new country

For people who are starting a life in a new country, Rotary can be a natural place to meet interesting people, form relationships, develop a network of contacts and gradually enter local community life.

Taking part in the Club’s meetings and activities helps you enter new social and professional circles and feel part of the local community.
