Support
Partnership for companies
Companies can support our work financially, in kind, with expertise and through the involvement of their employees. We always fit the scope of cooperation to the particular project and to the partner’s capabilities.
Four forms of cooperation
Funding a project
Financial support for a particular project or activity of the Club. The scope and the way the funds are used are agreed individually.
In-kind and service contributions
Equipment, materials, transport, printing, space, services or any other resources needed to carry out the project.
Expert knowledge
Law, medicine, logistics, construction, IT. An expert who looks over a project at the start saves it months and money.
Employee volunteering
The involvement of a company team in a particular activity or project — through the time, work and skills of its employees.
How it works in practice
- Step 1
A conversation
We get in touch and talk about the needs, the possibilities and the expectations of both sides. At this stage there are no commitments of any kind.
- Step 2
Choosing the project
We settle which project and which form of cooperation best suits the aims and the capabilities of the Club’s partner. We define the scope, the beneficiaries, the timetable and the resources needed.
- Step 3
Delivery and summing up
Once the project is finished we sum up what was done, what resources were used and what results were achieved. That is the basis for judging the cooperation and for possibly developing further initiatives.
What partnership gives a company
Partnership with the Club gives a company the chance to support particular social work, to build the recognition of its brand within the Rotary community, to form valuable relationships and to involve its employees in projects that genuinely matter. In the case of international initiatives it can also make contact with Rotary clubs and partners in other countries easier.
A project you can point to
The company takes part in a particular activity with a clearly defined aim, beneficiaries and result. That makes it easier to speak about real social impact, and not only about general declarations.
Employee involvement
Partnership can create room for employee volunteering, for a team taking part in projects and for working together towards a particular social aim.
An international network
1.2 million Rotarians in over 200 countries. This can make it easier to form contacts and to build cooperation across borders.
Levels of cooperation
Partnership and sponsorship
Companies can support particular Club projects financially, in kind, with expertise or organisationally. We agree the scope of cooperation individually, depending on the project and on the partner’s capabilities.
Project partner
Support for a particular initiative or project.
Partner of the year
A longer cooperation covering more than one activity.
Strategic partner of the Club
Long-term cooperation on larger initiatives, covering joint planning, resources, skills and the development of projects.
