The club’s presidents
In Rotary the president leads the Club for one Rotary year — from 1 July to 30 June. Rotary Club Warszawa-Belweder has been active since 2001, and each successive term carries on the continuity of its history.
One of the symbols of that continuity is the Club’s presidential chain, handed on from year to year to each person taking up the office.
The handover of service
In Rotary every term ends with the symbolic handover of service to the Club’s next president. One of the most important signs of that continuity is the presidential chain, which passes from the hands of the outgoing president to the person taking up the office for the next Rotary year.
Our Club’s chain is also a material record of its history. The central plate recalls the year Rotary Club Warszawa-Belweder was founded — 2001 — and the plates that follow document the presidential terms that came after.

More than 25 years of continuity
Every term was different, but together they make up more than two decades of the history of Rotary Club Warszawa-Belweder. Presidents, projects and challenges change, but the shared idea of service and of responsibility for the Club remains.
