Get involved

Help without being a member

You do not have to be a member of Rotary to act alongside us. You can join as a volunteer on a particular project, an event or a one-off initiative — with no dues and no commitment to membership.

What volunteering on our projects looks like

Below are a few examples from the Club’s earlier projects — they show how many different forms volunteering can take.

  • A summer trip for children from centres in Warsaw’s Praga district — care, organisation, being there for the whole stay.
  • School starter kits: buying, packing and delivering them to particular families before September.
  • Rehabilitation equipment for care centres — from choosing and buying it to delivering it.
  • The campaign with Centrum Praw Kobiet — helping to prepare and distribute the materials.

Three principles of volunteering

  • Volunteering is above all time, knowledge and commitment. We do not tie it to any expectation of financial support — donations and other forms of support we describe separately.
  • We look after the privacy of the people we help. We are particularly careful about publishing photographs of children and of other people who need special protection.
  • What counts is real help, not the number of hours. You can get involved once or regularly — what matters is that your help has a concrete value for the project.
